Scholarships

The Bridge Scholars Program is a new experiential learning opportunity for undergraduates funded by the USDA to promote hands on pre-professional and research experience. Scholars will have the opportunity to earn clinical shadowing hours as well as participate in a mentored research experience with one of 6 faculty mentors including dentist, dietitians, nurse practitioner, and physician. In addition, students will receive a $1,000 stipend and travel to a professional conference.

The Breeding-Smith Edge Scholarship is awarded annually to a Dietetics and Human Nutrition student in the Coordinated Program or Dietetic Internship Program. Students who receive this scholarship have clearly demonstrated leadership skills and entrepreneurial potential.

To apply for this $4,000 award, complete the online Breeding-Smith Edge Scholarship application form no later than 11:59 PM pm on May 1.
