Kelsie Potter is from Greenup County, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016. She earned her M.A. in Media Studies at The New School in NYC and is projected to earn her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in May 2024. Kelsie began advising as a graduate student and discovered a passion for empowering students to thrive academically and personally, which has led to a rewarding career in student success. Kelsie is looking forward to returning home to serve as a Senior Academic Advisor for the college. Her research interests include interactive media, accessibility in educational spaces, LGBTQIA+ and queer studies, and community building for retention. She is very excited to join DHN and begin work with our amazing students and faculty!
